Pet Death Doula Certification Program
Help other be the change
Do you have an inner yearning that is calling you to support pet parents in taking care of their beloved animal companion in their last phase of this life?
I guess one doesn’t make a conscious choice about working with death. It usually comes from an inner calling and if you are feeling it… then this course is for you!
Many people think that working with the dying and their grieving pet parents is a very depressing job. On the contrary, I have found my heart expands so much in supporting pet parents to move from grief and despair to a loving peace that allows them to still feel connected to their pets.
Our experiences during these moments allow us to connect with the animal’s wisdom and witness the beauty and peace that this sacred passage inherently contains. This is the most fulfilling job ever because we go beyond what is happening to the physical body and meet the divine and the joy that comes from witnessing all the transformations that occur and being of service to others is beyond words.
What is a pet death doula?
You may have heard the word birth doula before. A birth doula is a person that supports mothers in birthing a new soul into this world. Death doulas support the birthing into a new plane of existence.
Our work as Pet Death Doulas is being a midwife to the dying pet and supporting their transition in the most peaceful and loving way, whilst also giving all the help a pet parent needs during this time.
As Pet Death Doulas we are trained to care and understand what is happening on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
This work is sacred as it contains the high vibrational energies that are allowing for the transition to occur. Whoever has witnessed either a birth or a death with a calm heart, knows what I mean.
Although we don’t provide medical care we do collaborate with vets.
As doulas, we are comfortable being with a dying pet as we know and have experiences that support the notion that death is not the end but a continuation of our journey into consciousness.
We are able to be the calming and peaceful presence that supports pet parents in reaching that place of calm too.
Accompanying pets and their pet parents on this path can be done in person or online.

Who is this program for?
- This program is for compassionate animal lovers who want to support our mission of changing the way our pet’s end-of-life is lived
- It’s for someone that wants to dedicate time to a meaningful job that helps bring a more compassionate way of living and dying
- whoever is ready to bring back the sacredness into the dying process
- start a business by being of service to animals and people
- And it’s for vets and all pet professionals that want to expand their support to clients.
Every pet and pet parent should have this kind of support so that the end-of-life can be lived peacefully, with a good quality of life without solely resorting to euthanasia to achieve a pain-free end-of-life.
The world needs more compassionate souls that are willing to work on themselves in order to be of service to others and specifically to animals and their pet parents.
These courses on the end-of-life are revolutionary. People today think there is only one way to deal with a pet that has a terminal diagnosis. And that is quick euthanasia to avoid any discomfort and pain. But this sudden death brings with it one of the most difficult types of grief. Learning more about what happens in this last stage of life, is important, not only for our pets but for everyone, pet parents, vets and pet professionals that want to support pets fully.
Learning about death gives us choices, and allows us to witness a situation holistically, thus living this experience with the sacredness that it calls for.
This journey is invaluable, not only because it gives us tools to deal with the most difficult of times, whether it’s our pet’s end of life or our own, but also because it gives us tools to live a better life as well.
